impatient questions  (in Shakespearean sonnet form)

IMPATIENCE is a product of the press
    reflexively reporting what they make.
The questions that they ask create the stress:
    you will get leaf piles if you use a rake.

But ev'ry question is a diff'rent tool:
     X-Acto knives and hammers aren't the same.
No, ev'ry journalist is not a fool  --
     and, unlike surgeons, wrong tools will not maim.

    No damage to our bodies, but the soul
      of our democracy is much at risk
        when the wrong question is asked in a poll.
